Description / Mora 163 Natural Leather Edge Protection for Hook Knife
When a hook knife is put away after woodwork, its exposed edge can be dulled by contact with other surfaces. The Mora 163 Natural Leather Edge Protection is a simple cover for the hook knife, helping keep its edge protected between uses and ready for the next job.
Made from Swedish vegetable-tanned leather in a natural colour, it fastens with a press button. Fit it over the blade whenever the knife is not in use. The knife is not included.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home tool storage: cover the edge while the hook knife is put away.
- Shed or woodstore: keep the cover with the knife for woodwork and carving jobs.
- Camp and bushcraft: protect the edge when the knife is not being used for suitable woodwork.
Prep tips
- Fit the edge protection whenever the knife is not in use, as advised by the manufacturer.
- Check that the press button is fastened after fitting the cover.
- Store the covered knife in a suitable tool storage place, separate from items that could press against its edge.
