Description / Mora 106 & 6pc Wood Whittling and Carving Knife Set
When camp or woodland work calls for controlled wood carving, this set gives you a Mora 106 knife alongside a 6-piece whittling and carving set. The Mora knife has an 82mm carbon steel blade and a linseed oil treated Birchwood handle, making it a practical tool for detailed carving and more substantial woodwork.
The Mora 106’s shorter blade is described as easier to control and easy to sharpen. The separate 6-piece set has wooden handles and sharp, durable blades; it is not produced by Mora. Choose the tool that suits the carving task and work at a steady pace.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home workshop: for carving and small woodworking projects.
- Shed or woodstore: keep it with tools used for working wood.
- Camp: for controlled carving during camp and bushcraft activities.
- Woodland work: useful when a carving task needs more than one blade option.
Prep tips
- Store the knives securely so the blades are protected and easy to account for.
- Practise on a stable work surface before relying on your carving skills at camp.
