Description / Whitby 2" Stainless Steel Folding Pruning Knife
When a home garden or food-growing plot needs routine upkeep, this compact Whitby folding pruning knife gives you a dedicated tool for small pruning jobs. Its 2" stainless steel blade and wood handle make it a straightforward addition to the tools you keep for looking after plants at home.
Use it for pruning tasks, then fold the blade away for storage. Check that it closes securely before putting it back with your garden tools, and follow safe handling practices whenever you use it.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home garden: Keep it with your tools for routine pruning and plant care.
- Garden shed: Store it with other small hand tools so it is available for upkeep.
- Food-growing plot: A dedicated pruning tool can support regular care of plants you grow at home.
- Camp or bushcraft kit: A possible option for pruning tasks where appropriate and permitted; it is not a substitute for a larger cutting tool.
Prep tips
- Store it folded and securely with your garden tools, away from children.
- Check the blade and folding action periodically, and practise safe handling before a job.
- Keep a suitable alternative tool available for tasks that need a different blade size or tool type.
