Description / Stagenpaste Two Pack Medium/Fine Grinding Paste for Razor Strops
When you rely on a traditional razor, keeping its edge maintained can matter during an extended stay off-grid or when ordinary supplies are harder to replace. Stagenpaste is a solid two-paste set for razor strops, with one paste for pre-sharpening and another for fine-sharpening and polishing.
Use the red paste for its medium grind effect during pre-sharpening, then use the black paste, which has a low grinding effect, for fine-sharpening and polishing. Keep the pastes with the strop so they are to hand when you carry out routine maintenance.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep essential grooming and maintenance supplies together.
- Off-grid kit: Supports maintaining a razor when you are away from everyday services.
- Camp supplies: A compact-purpose addition for anyone who uses a traditional razor while camping.
Prep tips
- Store the pastes with the strop in a clean, dry place so the set stays together.
- Practise using a strop before relying on it during a trip or disruption.
- Keep a suitable alternative grooming method available as a backup.
