Description / Sheffield Genuine British Army Jack Knife, Stainless Steel
When a power cut or other disruption means you need to open a tin or tackle a small practical job, a compact folding knife with useful built-in tools earns a place in a home kit. Made in Sheffield, this genuine British Army Jack Knife has a stainless steel lambfoot blade, tin opener and flat Phillips screwdriver.
The knife was first produced in the 1940s and was issued during the occupation of Japan in 1946. Today it remains a usable pocket knife as well as a collectable piece. Keep it stored safely and use the blade and tools for appropriate camp and household tasks.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a cutting tool and tin opener for practical household jobs.
- Camp kitchen: useful for food preparation and opening tins.
- Bushcraft camp: a compact tool for suitable camp tasks.
- Shed or workshop: the screwdriver can help with small maintenance jobs.
