Description / Robens Spire II Sleeping Bag
When a storm, power cut or unexpected night away from home means sleeping somewhere cold, a dependable sleeping bag makes rest more manageable. The Robens Spire II is a three-season bag with OneThermo insulation and a body contour profile, designed to balance warmth and weight.
A 3D hood, redefined neck baffle and full-length insulated zip baffle help minimise draughts and heat loss. The shark fin foot box adds insulation around the feet, while differentiated hood drawcords allow quick adjustment. It has a brushed polyester lining for enhanced moisture transport, an anti-snag YKK zipper and an inner pocket for valuables. A compression stuff sack is included for packing and storage.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a warm sleep option if heating is unavailable.
- Grab bag or 72-hour kit: useful when you may need to stay away overnight.
- Camp: suited to three-season nights outdoors.
- Off-grid stays: a compact sleeping option when facilities are limited.
Prep tips
- Keep the bag dry in storage and check it periodically for dampness or damage.
- Pair it with a sleeping mat to add a layer between you and the ground.
- Practise packing it into its compression stuff sack before you need to leave in a hurry.
