Description / Robens Moraine I Compact 3-Season Sleeping Bag
If a storm or other disruption means you need to spend a night away from home, a sleeping bag gives you a dedicated layer for rest. The Robens Moraine I is a compact 3-season sleeping bag that weighs 615g, making it a practical option for camp or a grab bag.
MicroThermo insulation, a comfort mummy shape and a shark fin foot box help retain warmth. The full-open L-shaped zip lets the bag open flat, while hood drawcords allow quick adjustment. It also has an inside pocket and an anti-snag zip guard.
Where it fits in your kit
- Grab bag: a compact sleep option if you need to leave at short notice.
- Home emergency box: useful backup bedding for an unexpected overnight stay.
- Car kit: pack it for planned trips where you may need to sleep away from home.
- Camp: a three-season option for nights outdoors.
Prep tips
- Store the sleeping bag clean and dry, and check its condition before packing it for a trip.
- Practise fitting it into its compression stuff sack so you know how it packs.
- Pair it with a sleeping mat for a more complete sleep setup.
- Plan around the comfort and limit temperatures; do not use the extreme temperature as a comfort rating.
