Description / Robens Lumberjack Compact Woodgas Stove
When you need to cook at camp without packing a separate fuel supply, the Robens Lumberjack Woodgas Stove burns sticks and small branches. It offers a practical backup for outdoor cooking when you want to keep your kit compact and make use of available wood.
The compact, lightweight stove has an efficient, cleaner-combusting double-wall design, and a carry-bag is included. Use it outdoors in a suitable place, following local fire restrictions and safe fire practices.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp cooking kit: a wood-burning option for preparing food outdoors.
- Off-grid trips: burns sticks and small branches, so there is no need to carry fuel.
- Home emergency box: keep it ready for outdoor cooking during a power cut, where conditions allow.
- Bushcraft camp: a compact stove for cooking with available wood.
Prep tips
- Practise using the stove before relying on it during a disruption.
- Keep a separate cooking method available in case suitable wood or a safe place to use the stove is unavailable.
- Choose a clear, stable outdoor location and check local fire restrictions before lighting a fire.
