Description / Robens Logger Compact Wood Stove
When you need to cook away from mains power or your usual kitchen, a wood-burning stove gives you another option. The Robens Logger Wood Stove is a compact stainless steel stove for outdoor cooking, suitable for camp and off-grid use.
It measures 11.5 x 11.5 x 15.5 cm when assembled and packs flat to 11.5 x 15.5 x 1 cm, so it can fit neatly with your outdoor equipment. The stainless steel construction is resistant to corrosion and offers heat retention. Pair it with suitable cookware and a way to light the fuel you plan to use.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a backup cooking option for an outage, when used outdoors.
- Grab bag: its flat-pack form takes up little room in a bag prepared for a short-notice move.
- Camp kitchen: a wood-burning stove for outdoor cooking.
- Off-grid kit: useful when cooking away from mains power.
Prep tips
- Use the stove outdoors on a stable, non-combustible surface, well away from tents and other flammable materials.
- Pack suitable cookware and a separate fire-lighting method alongside the stove.
- Practise setting it up and cooking with it before relying on it during a disruption.
- After use, let it cool fully and store it clean and dry.
