Description / Robens Folding Aluminium Camping Stove Windshield
When wind is making outdoor cooking less efficient, the Robens Windshield helps shield a camping stove flame so it can perform more effectively. Its lightweight, foldable design makes it a practical addition to a camp cooking kit without taking up much space when packed away.
Made from aluminium, it is tall enough to shield most burners mounted directly onto gas cartridges. Fold it down for storage and transport; a mesh storage bag is included.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp cooking kit: helps reduce wind exposure around the stove.
- Off-grid cooking supplies: supports cooking outdoors when you are away from mains power.
- Hiking or backpacking kit: folds down for compact storage and transport.
- Home emergency box: keep it with a suitable camping stove for outdoor cooking during a power cut, where conditions allow.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up with your stove before relying on it outdoors.
- Use it with a compatible stove and follow the stove manufacturer's instructions.
- Keep your cooking kit together so the windshield, stove and fuel are easy to find.
