Description / Reversible Camo & Olive Green Tarp 2.7 x 3.5m
When a storm brings rain or you need temporary cover at camp, a tarp gives you a simple way to make shelter or protect equipment. This reversible camo and olive green tarp measures 2.7 x 3.5m and is made from lightweight 80gsm army camo tarpaulin, making it a practical option for a home emergency box or outdoor shelter kit.
It has 12mm aluminium eyelets at 1 metre intervals in reinforced hems for securing the tarp. The material remains flexible even in sub-zero temperatures and is waterproof, UV protected, rotproof and shrinkproof. Use suitable cordage and secure it thoughtfully for the conditions.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep a cover available for temporary protection from rain.
- Camp shelter kit: Use it as a cover when setting up a basic outdoor shelter.
- Grab bag: Add a lightweight shelter option for an evacuation or time spent outdoors.
- Gear cover: Protect equipment from rain at camp or around the home.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up before you need it, and check that your chosen pitch is secure.
- Pack suitable cordage and, where appropriate, pegs to help secure the tarp.
- Check the eyelets and reinforced hems periodically; clean and dry the tarp before storing it away.
