Description / Real Steel Japanese Whetstone 6000/10000 Grit for Fine Honing
When a cutting tool needs its edge refined for practical work at home or camp, this Real Steel Japanese-style whetstone provides two fine grits in one stone. Use it after initial sharpening: the 6000 grit face is for smoothing and edge refinement, while the 10000 grit face is for final polishing. Its corundum construction and double layered silicone pads make it a useful, stable option for regular maintenance.
Work through the grits in sequence, moving from 6000 to 10000 for progressive refinement. The silicone pads on the top and bottom help keep the stone stable during use and protect the work surface. Store it where it is easy to find alongside the tools you maintain.
