When a cutting tool needs its edge refined for camp or home tasks, this two-sided whetstone provides a practical way to maintain it. The Real Steel Japanese Whetstone has 3000 and 8000 grit corundum surfaces for fine sharpening and polishing, with non-slip silicone bases to help keep the stone stable while you work.
Use the 3000 grit side for smoothing and edge refinement, then move to the 8000 grit side for final polishing. The stone has two interchangeable bases and a full-size sharpening area for consistent strokes.
