Quest Elite Wiltshire 15L Blue Insulated Cooler Bag

When a power cut interrupts refrigeration, a cooler can give chilled food and drinks a temporary place to go. The Quest Elite Wiltshire 15L is an insulated cooler bag with a 15L compartment, useful at home or on the move. Its carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap make it straightforward to transport, while its foldable design helps it take up less space when stored. The QTec Weave 600D fabric is durable and easy to clean. A top mesh pocket keeps smaller items such as cutlery and snacks separate from the main compartment. For keeping contents cool, use suitable frozen ice packs and keep the lid closed as much as possible; the source does not specify how long the bag will maintain a temperature.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: a temporary place for chilled food during a power cut, when used with ice packs.
• Car kit: carries food and drinks on longer journeys or during a breakdown delay.
• Camp: keeps refreshments together at a pitch or campsite.
• Food storage: a portable option for shopping trips when you need to keep chilled items together.

Prep tips

• Keep reusable ice packs frozen and ready if you plan to use the cooler during a power cut.
• Pack chilled items together and limit how often you open the bag.
• Clean and dry the cooler before folding it away, and check that it is ready before a trip.
