Description / Quest Autograph Hampshire 22L Cool Bag
When you’re taking food away from home for a camp or a day out, a cool bag gives you one place to carry it. The Quest Autograph Hampshire Cool Bag has a 22L capacity and a separate zipped front compartment for utensils and small essentials, making it useful for organised food transport during a short power cut or while off-grid.
It is made from QTec Weave 600D fabric and is described as lightweight and easy to clean. Use the adjustable back straps or carry handle to transport it; when it is not needed, it folds down for storage. The source does not specify how long it keeps food cool, so plan around your food and cooling method rather than relying on a set duration.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a place for food during a brief power cut, alongside a suitable cooling method.
- Camp kitchen: carry food and keep utensils in the front compartment.
- Car kit: organise food and drinks for a journey or breakdown stop.
- Off-grid day trips: carry provisions when there is no kitchen nearby.
Prep tips
- Pre-chill food and use appropriate cold packs when you need to keep items cool.
- Keep food in sealed containers to reduce spills and make the contents easier to organise.
- Check the bag is clean and dry before storing it, and fold it only when it is not in use.
- Do not assume food will stay cool for a particular length of time; follow safe food-storage guidance.
