Description / Petromax Small BBQ and Coal Tongs - 41 cm
When a power cut makes your usual cooking arrangements unavailable, a grill can provide a practical outdoor backup. The Petromax Small BBQ and Coal Tongs help you handle food, coal and briquettes while cooking, with a 41 cm reach.
The curved tongs head makes it easier to grasp and place items on the grill. A locking mechanism helps keep the tongs compact for storage, and the eyelet lets you hang them on a hook. The brushed stainless steel construction and wood handle are made for outdoor cooking tasks.
Where it fits in your kit
- Outdoor cooking kit: keep them with your grill equipment for handling food and fuel.
- Home emergency cooking supplies: useful alongside a suitable grill for backup outdoor cooking.
- Camp kitchen: help manage food and briquettes while cooking at camp.
Prep tips
- Store the tongs with your grill or cooking equipment so they are easy to find when needed.
- Practise using them with your cooking setup before relying on it during a disruption.
- Keep a separate method for cooking available; tongs do not replace a stove or fire source.
