When you’re cooking at camp without a kitchen, a hot meal can still be simple. The Petromax Sandwich Iron lets you toast sandwiches over campfire embers or on a barbecue, making it a useful addition to outdoor cooking kit for camps and days off-grid.
The hinged cast-iron pans separate for cleaning and suit toast measuring 11 x 11 cm. A locking hook holds the pans together while cooking, and the wooden handles stay a distance from the heat source. The cast iron has a seasoned finish and stores heat well; once the iron is hot, its residual heat can also be used for gentler baking.
