Description / Petromax pro-ft Grilling Grate for Dutch Oven Cooking
When you need more than one way to cook at camp or off-grid, the Petromax pro-ft grilling grate adds options to a compatible outdoor cooking setup. Use it with the pro-ft accessories to grill or smoke food, or place it inside a Dutch oven size ft6 or larger for steaming and baking.
For grilling, attach the grate to the Dutch Oven Lid Holder pro-ft in place of a Dutch oven lid, then position the Charcoal Tray pro-ft underneath at the height you want. For smoking, add smoking chips and briquettes to the tray and place a pot over it. Inside a Dutch oven, the grate keeps food above the bottom of the pot. It can also be stored and transported inside a Petromax Dutch oven size ft6 or larger.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp kitchen: Add grilling and smoking options when you have the compatible pro-ft components.
- Off-grid cooking setup: Make more use of a Dutch oven and its accessories when cooking outdoors.
- Dutch oven kit: Use the grate inside an ft6 or larger Dutch oven for steaming or baking.
- Outdoor cooking storage: Keep it inside a compatible Dutch oven for storage and transport.
