Description / Petromax Perkomax Stainless Steel Insert for per-9-s / per-9-w
When you want to make coffee or tea at camp or during an off-grid stay, a compatible percolator can be a useful part of your cooking kit. This Petromax stainless steel insert is a replacement set for the per-9-s and per-9-w enamel percolators, helping keep the original brewing method in use. Its rust-resistant construction makes it a practical choice for replacing a worn, damaged or missing insert.
The three-piece set contains a standpipe, filter basket and lid. Check your percolator model before ordering, as the insert is intended for the compatible Petromax models listed below.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp cooking kit: keeps a compatible percolator ready for coffee or tea.
- Off-grid kitchen: a replacement part for brewing when away from mains-powered appliances.
- Home emergency box: useful if you already rely on a compatible percolator during power cuts.
- Spare cookware parts: store it with your percolator so the brewing set stays together.
Prep tips
- Check the model marking on your percolator before buying or fitting the insert.
- Keep the standpipe, basket and lid together to avoid misplacing a component.
- Try the assembly and brewing method at home before relying on it at camp.
