Description / Petromax Long Flexible Grill and Pan Spatula
When cooking at camp or using an alternative cooking setup during a power cut, a suitable utensil makes it easier to handle food safely and neatly. The Petromax long spatula is made for grills and pans, with a flexible brushed stainless-steel blade and a wooden handle.
The blade tapers towards the end to keep it supple for turning food of different sizes, while remaining steady enough to remove meat juices from the bottom of a pan or pot. It is also particularly suitable for Petromax griddles fs38, fs48 and fs56. A hole at the end of the handle lets you hang it up for storage.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp cooking kit: turn meat, fish and vegetables on a grill or in a pan.
- Off-grid cooking: keep a dedicated utensil with your outdoor cooking equipment.
- Home emergency box: useful alongside cookware for cooking on an alternative heat source.
- Outdoor kitchen: hang it up between uses using the hole in the handle.
Prep tips
- Store it with your cookware so it is ready when you set up a camp kitchen.
- Pair it with the grill or pan you plan to use, and practise turning food before relying on the setup.
- Keep a separate utensil for serving if you want to avoid using the cooking spatula at the table.
