Description / Petromax KX25 Dry Rack Basket for 25L Cool Box
When you need to keep food organised in a cool box during a power cut, a journey or a camp, this basket separates delicate items and opened packages from the ice below. The Petromax KX25 Dry Rack Basket sits on the inner edge of the 25L Cool Box, keeping its contents elevated and accessible.
Made from powder-coated steel, it is resistant to cold and moisture. You can use up to two baskets at the same time. For best results, put ice and drinks or meat in the lower section, keeping them to a height of 15 cm, and place dry or delicate goods in the basket. Hygienically package raw meat, fish and fatty foods before putting them in the basket.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Organise food in a compatible cool box during a power cut.
- Camp kitchen: Keep opened or delicate items above ice and easy to reach.
- Off-grid food storage: Separate dry goods from chilled items in the cool box.
- Car journey: Help keep food organised when travelling with the compatible cool box.
Prep tips
- Check that the basket fits your cool box before relying on it for a trip or emergency.
- Keep raw meat, fish and fatty foods hygienically packaged.
- Plan how food will be kept cool; the basket organises the contents but does not provide cooling.
- Arrange frequently needed items where they are easy to reach.
