When a power cut or water outage disrupts normal routines, keeping provisions cool can be a practical challenge. The Petromax KX25 is a 25 l passive cool box that uses commercially available ice, cold packs or dry ice, so cooling does not depend on a compressor or absorber. Its double-walled, void-insulated body keeps ice cool for up to 12 days.
For best results, pre-cool the box and put only pre-cooled food or drinks inside. Place ice or cold packs on top, open the lid purposefully and infrequently, and keep the box in a cool, shady place out of direct sunlight. The integrated drain lets you remove melt water during use. Its PE body, one-hand rubber fasteners and tie-down features are designed for practical use outdoors.
