Description / Petromax FT12 10.8L Cast Iron Dutch Oven
When a power cut or fuel outage takes your usual cooker out of action, a way to cook over an open fire or charcoal can be useful. The Petromax FT12 is a 10.8L cast-iron Dutch oven for outdoor cooking and baking, with a pre-treated seasoned finish so it does not need first seasoning before use.
Cast iron stores and distributes warmth, and the raised edge on the lid allows embers or charcoal to be placed on top for heat from above as well. Use the thermometer hole to check the temperature without lifting the lid; the upturned lid can also serve as a pan. The pot has a sturdy handle for lifting.
