When you need to cook away from the kitchen, a skillet that can go over an open fire makes camp meals more practical. The Petromax FP40-T 40cm Cast Iron Fire Skillet is made from durable cast iron and has a pre-seasoned surface, so it can be used immediately.
Cast iron distributes and retains heat well, making the skillet suitable for frying, roasting and braising. Its natural anti-adhesive effect improves as a patina forms with use. Use it on an electric cooker, over a gas flame, in an oven, or outdoors on a cooking area, campfire or suitable barbecue. The main handle and smaller opposite handle help with holding and hanging the skillet.
