When you’re cooking outdoors without a conventional kitchen, a hot Dutch oven lid can be awkward to handle. The Petromax Dutch Oven Lid Lifter is a 35 cm steel tool that helps you lift and replace hot lids with a comfortable grip and some distance from the heat.
Two wooden handles and a clamping mechanism help you control the lid as you lift or close it. Extra legs let the lifter stand beside your Dutch oven or barbecue, ready to use, and provide an additional safeguard when lifting a heavy lid. It suits Petromax Dutch Ovens of every size, as well as baking tins and similar cookware.
