Description / Petromax Dutch Oven Frying Basket for FT6 & FT9
When you need to make more of an outdoor cooking setup, this Petromax Dutch Oven Frying Basket gives a compatible Dutch oven extra ways to prepare food. Made from stainless steel, it is designed for the Petromax FT6 and FT9, making it a practical addition for off-grid cooking or a camp kitchen built around either pot.
Use the basket for frying, steaming, braising or smoking, or as a pasta strainer. Its rim suspension design helps drain food when lifting it out of the pot. The wooden handle is removable for storage.
Where it fits in your kit

- Camp kitchen: useful for preparing and draining food outdoors.
- Home emergency cooking kit: store it with your compatible Dutch oven for cooking when normal kitchen facilities are unavailable.
Prep tips
- Check that your Dutch oven is a Petromax FT6 or FT9 before adding the basket to your cooking kit.
