When your usual kitchen cooking setup is unavailable, a suitable grill can provide another way to prepare a meal. The Petromax Cast Iron Poultry Roaster is made for cooking a chicken, quail or small duck in an oven or suitable grill, making it a useful piece of cookware for planned outdoor or backup cooking.
Its central well holds herbs, spices or stock, while surplus fat and meat juices drain into the pan. The cast iron distributes heat, and the pre-seasoned surface means the roaster can be used straight away. Two handles help with handling, and a side spout makes it easier to pour away collected juices.
