When you need to make food without relying on a conventional hob, this Petromax Cast Iron Muffin Tin lets you bake six small cakes over a fire, on hot embers or in a home oven. Its cast iron construction makes it a practical addition to camp cooking equipment and an off-grid kitchen.
The cast iron surface stores and transfers heat to the baking. It comes with a seasoned finish, so it does not need burning in before first use. The tin fits Petromax Dutch Ovens ft6 and ft9; when using it in the ft9, place a Trivet ftus or Stack Grate underneath to keep the cast iron slightly raised from the bottom.
