Description / Petromax Campfire Skewers, Pack of 2
When you need to cook at camp without relying on a hob or powered appliance, these Petromax campfire skewers provide a straightforward way to roast food over an open fire or hot charcoal. The pack contains two skewers, useful for cooking a couple of portions at once.
Each skewer has two long, slightly upward-bent prongs to help keep food such as small sausages and vegetables in place. The length is adjustable, so you can keep some distance from the heat while cooking. Stainless steel prongs and ridged beech wood handles make them practical to use, and the hole at the end of each handle allows hanging storage after cleaning.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp cooking: roast food over an open fire when you are away from a kitchen.
- Off-grid cooking: add a simple utensil for meals cooked over hot charcoal.
- Home emergency box: keep them with suitable cooking equipment for a power cut.
- Camp kitchen: use the pair to prepare food for more than one person.
Prep tips
- Store the skewers clean and dry, with the prongs protected from damage.
- Pair them with suitable fire-lighting equipment and a safe place to cook outdoors.
