When cooking at camp or off-grid, a campfire can provide a way to prepare food without a stove. The Petromax Campfire Bread Skewer has a cast-iron tip for baking twist bread and a reusable design that makes it a practical addition to camp cooking kit.
The tip has an insertion aid to help keep sweet or savoury dough in place, and transfers heat into the dough as it cooks. Adjust the telescopic stainless-steel rod continuously from 70 cm to 107 cm, then turn it using the wooden handle. The bread slides off in one piece when cooked. The skewer is easy to clean with water, and the cast-iron tip’s natural non-stick patina improves with use.
