Description / Petromax Black Enamel Pan - 0.5L
When a power cut interrupts cooking at home, or you need to prepare food at camp without a full kitchen, this Petromax Black Enamel Pan provides a compact, straightforward cooking option. It holds up to 0.5 L and is suitable for all stove types and open fire, so it can earn a place in a home emergency box or camp cooking kit.
The pan is made from enamelled steel, with a wooden handle that acts as a natural heat shield when handling it over a fire. An internal scale helps measure ingredients, while the scratch-resistant surface is easy to clean. It is also suitable for use in the oven.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a compact pan for cooking when normal kitchen routines are disrupted.
- Camp kitchen: prepare quick meals over a suitable stove or open fire.
- Off-grid cooking: use it with a stove when you are away from mains power.
- Outdoor cooking kit: the low weight makes it useful when keeping cooking gear manageable.
Prep tips
- Check that your chosen stove or cooking setup is suitable before use.
- Practise using your cooking equipment at home or at camp before relying on it during a disruption.
