When a power cut or a camp meal calls for food preparation without all the usual kitchen facilities, a good chef’s knife is a useful tool to have on hand. This handmade Petromax knife has a 17cm stainless steel blade and a walnut handle, combining practical food-preparation features with a size suited to chopping and slicing.
Made in Solingen, Germany, the blade is hand hardened and sharpened, with a 3mm thickness and a 20° grinding angle. Its unique oxide finish gives each knife an individual appearance. The seamless riveted walnut handle provides a secure grip, and the knife is suitable for preparing vegetables, fish and meat.
