Description / Petromax 10.5cm Bushcraft Fixed Blade Knife
When you need to prepare kindling or shape wood at camp, a dependable fixed blade is a practical tool to have to hand. The Petromax 10.5cm Bushcraft Knife is made for woodworking, splitting smaller firewood and precise carving.
Its hand-sharpened blade is made from German 80CrV2 carbon steel and has a Scandi grind, which the source notes is easy to sharpen. The wooden handle is bonded to the steel, with aluminium rivets securing the handle scales. A genuine leather pouch is included.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp: carving and preparing wood for practical camp tasks.
- Bushcraft: shaping wood and making kindling.
- Home woodstore: useful for small woodwork jobs and preparing kindling.
- Shed: a dedicated tool for controlled carving and woodworking.
Prep tips
- Store the knife securely in its pouch, out of reach of children.
