Description / Oztent 2.3m Aluminium Telescopic 3 Stage Upright Pole

When you need to set up an awning or side panel at camp, this Oztent upright pole provides adjustable support without adding much weight to your gear. It is made from aluminium alloy and extends to 2.3 metres, making it a useful shelter accessory for camping and off-grid stays. The three-stage telescopic design uses a twist-lock mechanism for quick height adjustments. It measures 0.97 metres when collapsed and weighs approximately 480 grams, so it can be packed alongside your other camping equipment. The pole is designed to extend and stabilise Oztent awnings, side panels and other accessories.

Where it fits in your kit

  • Camping shelter: support an Oztent awning or side panel during camp setup.
  • Home emergency box: keep it with shelter equipment for temporary outdoor setups.
  • Off-grid camp: add adjustable support for compatible Oztent accessories.

Prep tips

  • Practise extending and locking the pole before relying on it at camp.
  • Check the pole and twist-lock mechanism before each trip.
