When a household repair needs more than a basic blade, the Opinel No09 DIY Folding Knife brings several useful functions together in one tool. It is a practical choice for a home emergency box or workshop, with wire-cutting and stripping functions alongside screwdrivers for small fixes.
The 8cm blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. The tool cuts cables up to 5mm in diameter and strips wires up to 1.8mm in diameter. Its magnetised bit holder holds screwdriver bits, and the integrated crosshead screwdriver fits 3.5-5mm screws; the flat screwdriver fits 4mm screws.
