When an outdoor trip calls for a practical cutting tool and a way to signal for help, the Opinel No.8 Horizon Knife provides both in one compact folding design. It has an 8 cm stainless steel blade, a Virobloc locking system and a 110dB whistle, making it a useful choice for camp food preparation and emergency signalling.
The reinforced polyamide handle is designed for durability and comfortable handling. The blade locks in place with the Virobloc system, and a lanyard hole allows attachment to gear at camp. Check how the lock works before setting out, and use the whistle as a signalling aid when needed.
