Description / Opinel 4pc Olive Wood Kitchen Knife Set
When a power cut interrupts meal preparation, or you are cooking at camp, a useful set of hand tools keeps everyday food prep straightforward. The Opinel 4pc Olive Wood Kitchen Knife Set contains three knives and a peeler, with blades made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with high carbon content. The source describes the steel as offering excellent cutting quality and good resistance to corrosion.
The set includes a paring knife, serrated knife, vegetable knife and peeler for different kitchen tasks. Choose the tool suited to the job, and work on a stable surface with care, whether preparing food at home or in a camp kitchen.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home kitchen — useful for everyday meal preparation during a power cut.
- Camp kitchen — a set of hand tools for preparing meals outdoors.
- Bushcraft cooking — supports food preparation at camp.
- Woodland camp — keep it with your camp cooking equipment for meal prep.
Prep tips
- Store the set safely with your kitchen or camp cooking equipment, out of reach of children.
- Use a stable cutting surface and handle each blade carefully.
- Practise using the different tools before relying on them at camp.
- Keep a separate way to cook food available; knives and a peeler do not provide a heat source.
