Description / Old Timer Premium Trapper 3-Blade Pocket Knife with Saw, Gut Hook & Clip Point
When camp or woodland work calls for more than one kind of cutting tool, the Old Timer Premium Trapper brings three blades together in a folding pocket knife. Its clip point, saw and gut hook make it a useful option for practical bushcraft tasks and preparing materials at camp.
The clip point is satin finished, and the saw has two rows of serrated teeth for working through fibrous or coarse material such as branches. The gut hook blade can slide beneath cord or rope to cut it. The knife has a slip joint mechanism; check its operation and handle it with care before use.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home tool drawer: A compact option for suitable cutting jobs around the home.
- Shed or woodstore: Keep it with tools used for preparing materials.
- Camp: The clip point and saw offer different blade shapes for camp tasks.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: The saw can tackle branches and other coarse material.
Prep tips
- Store it safely with the blades folded and away from children.
- Practise opening and closing each blade carefully before relying on it at camp.
- Pair it with a suitable purpose-made saw when a larger cutting job calls for one.
