Old Timer Cave Bear Lockback Folding Pocket Knife with Clip Point Blade

When camp or woodland work calls for a cutting tool, the Old Timer Cave Bear Lockback Folding Pocket Knife provides a practical option for a kit kept at home or used at camp. Its clip point blade is made from 7Cr17 high carbon stainless steel, and the knife includes a brown leather belt sheath.

The blade has a nail groove for opening, while the lockback format and heat treated back springs are part of its construction. The sawcut handles, nickel silver bolsters and brass pins complete the knife. Keep it for suitable camp tasks and lawful food preparation, rather than treating it as a general-purpose item for every kit.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: A folding cutting tool for practical household tasks when needed.
• Shed or woodstore: Keep it with tools used for camp and woodland preparation.
• Camp: Useful for appropriate cutting jobs and food preparation.
• Bushcraft and woodland work: A compact tool for suitable tasks at a planned work area.

Prep tips

• Store the knife securely and keep it clean and dry between uses.
• Practise opening and closing it carefully before relying on it during a busy camp task.
• Pair it with other appropriate camp tools rather than expecting one knife to cover every job.
