Old Forge 3 Piece Whittling Knives with Black Nylon Sheath

When you need to shape or finish a small wooden item at home or at camp, this Old Forge set gives you three dedicated tools for detailed carving. It is a practical addition to a woodworker’s or bushcrafter’s kit, rather than an all-purpose knife set. The set includes a whittler, a detail knife and a chisel, each with a black finish high carbon steel blade and an ergonomic natural wood handle. The embroidered black nylon belt sheath holds all three together; store the knives securely and use them with care on a stable work surface.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home workshop: Keep the set with hand tools for carving and small woodwork.
• Shed or woodstore: Store it securely alongside materials and other woodworking tools.
• Camp: Use it for deliberate woodcraft at camp, where carving tools are useful.
• Bushcraft practice: Set aside for learning and practising controlled carving skills.

Prep tips

• Store the knives dry and securely, with the blades covered when not in use.
• Use a stable work surface and keep hands clear of the cutting path.
• Practise with the tools before relying on them for a project, and check their condition before use.
