When camp cooking calls for a useful wooden utensil, the Morakniv 164 Right Handed Spoon Carving Knife lets you shape a spoon or bowl from wood. Its single-edged stainless steel blade is designed for spoon carving, making it a practical specialist tool for a well-chosen bushcraft kit.
The blade comes razor sharp out of the pack and is suitable for working wood from lime to hardwoods such as cherry. Its flat inside and bevel on the outside are important to bear in mind when sharpening: maintaining the bevel helps preserve the edge geometry. This is the right-handed model.
