Description / Mora Eldris Fixed Blade Knife - Darla Red / Orsa Brown 2026
When you need to prepare kindling or tackle small cutting jobs at camp, the Mora Eldris is a compact fixed blade knife for the task. Its Swedish stainless steel blade and ferro-rod-compatible spine make it a useful choice for camp work and fire lighting, without relying on the knife being a fire-starting kit by itself.
The Eldris is suited to carving, cutting small branches and general camp use. Pair the spine with a ferro rod for fire lighting, and use the blade for the cutting and carving jobs described. Its compact design is easy to carry around camp.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp kit: for small cutting and carving jobs at your pitch.
- Bushcraft setup: a compact tool for practical camp tasks.
- Home emergency box: kept with other tools for household preparedness.
- Shed or woodstore: available for suitable small outdoor jobs.
Prep tips
- Store it securely with your tools, away from children and where the blade cannot damage other kit.
- Keep a separate fire-lighting method, such as a lighter, alongside a ferro rod.
