Description / Mora Amberg Stainless Steel Fixed Blade Knife, 109 mm - Blue Mountains
When you need to prepare food, work with wood or make a fire at camp, a dependable knife earns its place in your kit. The Mora Amberg is a fixed blade outdoor knife with a 109 mm stainless steel blade and a square-ground spine compatible with a ferro rod. Its Scandi grind gives you control for carving and other practical camp jobs.
The 3.2 mm blade is made from Swedish 12C27 stainless steel by Alleima and is cryogenically treated to 58 HRC. The handle combines a polypropylene core with an outer TPE layer for a comfortable, secure grip in cold or wet conditions. Its symmetrical click-fit sheath can be set for either left- or right-handed orientation.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp kitchen: prepare food with a dedicated outdoor knife.
- Fire-lighting kit: pair the square-ground spine with a ferro rod.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: carve and handle controlled cutting tasks.
- Home shed or woodstore: keep it with tools used for outdoor and woodwork jobs.
Prep tips
- Practise safe cutting and sharpening techniques before relying on the knife at camp.
