Description / Maxpedition Platy Front Pocket Organizer Pouch
When small emergency essentials are scattered through a bag or box, they can be hard to find in a hurry. The Maxpedition Platy Front Pocket Organizer is a compact pouch for keeping items together, with multiple pockets and durable 500D nylon construction.
The main compartment closes with a YKK #8 zipper, while front and rear slip pockets make it easy to separate smaller items. A concealable rear keyring and removable paracord lanyard offer different ways to organise and carry it. Its flat design is made to fit in trouser and jacket pockets, and the source describes the material as resistant to water and abrasion.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: group small essentials so they are easier to locate.
- Grab bag: keep frequently needed small items together inside your bag.
- Car kit: organise small useful items in one pouch.
- Camp kit: separate small tools or pens from other equipment.
Prep tips
- Choose contents that suit the kit and keep the pouch from becoming overfilled.
- Check the contents periodically and replace anything that has been used or is no longer suitable.
- Keep critical items accessible and have a separate backup where losing one small item would cause a problem.
