Description / LifeStraw SIP Stainless Steel Water Filter Straw with Carry Case - Laguna Teal
When you’re travelling or away from a dependable tap, the LifeStraw SIP gives you a way to filter water as you drink. This portable stainless steel filter straw is a practical addition to a small water kit, with no batteries or electricity required.
Its membrane microfilter removes microplastics, bacteria, parasites and fine sediment from tap or outdoor sources. The filter has a pore size of 0.2 micron and a lifespan of up to 1,000 litres. A leak proof carry case protects the straw in transit and keeps it together with your other water kit.
Where it fits in your kit
- Grab bag: a compact filtration option for travel or time away from home.
- Home emergency box: useful as a backup alongside stored drinking water.
- Car kit: a portable filter to keep with other breakdown supplies.
- Travel and camp: filter water from tap or outdoor sources as you drink.
Prep tips
- Keep it in its carry case and check that it is ready before travelling.
- Store drinking water as your primary supply; a filter is a useful backup, not a reason to leave without water.
- Practise using the straw before you need it, and follow the maker’s care instructions.
