Description / Lansky Pink Quick Fix Compact Knife Sharpener
When a cutting tool has gone blunt, routine jobs around the home or camp can become harder. The Lansky Pink Quick Fix is a light, compact sharpener that gives you a straightforward way to maintain an edge, earning a place alongside the tools you rely on during a power cut or an off-grid trip.
Its tungsten carbide element sharpens in 3 or 4 strokes. Finish the edge with the ceramic polishing hones. The two stages make it simple to sharpen first and then polish the edge.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: keep a maintenance tool with household kit for disruptions.
- Shed or woodstore: have it available for routine upkeep of tools stored there.
- Camp and bushcraft kit: useful for maintaining tools used around camp.
- Workshop: keep it with other equipment-maintenance essentials.
Prep tips
- Keep the sharpener somewhere clean and easy to find, rather than buried at the bottom of a kit.
- Practise using it before relying on it during a busy camp or household task.
- Keep a separate backup sharpening method with your tools if you need continued maintenance away from home.
