When a household or camp blade needs attention before it can do its everyday job, the Lansky Natural Arkansas Knife Sharpening System provides three grades of natural Arkansas hone for working on an edge. It earns a place with tool-maintenance gear for keeping useful cutting tools ready for camp, bushcraft and jobs around the home.
The Soft Arkansas hone is for quickly achieving a sharp edge. Use the Hard Arkansas hone for a very fine edge or to touch up an already sharpened blade, then the Black Hard Arkansas hone for final polishing. The multi-angle knife clamp, three guide rods and Nathan's Honing Oil are included, along with spare clamp and guide rod thumb screws.
