When a knife used for camp cooking or practical work needs attention, a compact sharpener is useful to have close by. The Lansky Mini Dog Bone is a pocket-sized ceramic rod sharpener for quick knife sharpening, with a key chain attached to its finger guards.
The alumina ceramic rod keeps the design simple and compact. Keep it with your tools so it is available when a knife needs sharpening, and follow suitable sharpening practice for the knife you are maintaining.
