Description / Lansky Hammerhead Knife Sharpener with Bottle & Tab Openers
When a knife needs attention before cooking at home or at camp, the Lansky Hammerhead provides a compact way to make a quick repair and finish the edge. It combines V-shaped tungsten carbide and ceramic rod sharpening elements with bottle-cap and beverage-tab openers, so it has more than one practical job around a camp kitchen or barbecue.
Draw the sharpener lightly along the curve of the blade, following the instructions, and repeat three or four times. The grey carbide element sharpens; the white ceramic rods finish the edge. The ergonomic rubber safety handle is designed for use with either hand. Take care when handling knives, and clean the knife thoroughly after sharpening.
