Description / Kombat 3-Way Folding Entrenching Tool with Cordura Pouch
After a storm or during a stay off-grid, you may need a spade for straightforward ground work. The Kombat Entrenching Tool is a 3-way folding spade that gives you a practical digging tool for a home emergency box, shed or camp kit.
Its folding design makes it easier to store than a full-length spade, and the included Cordura storage pouch keeps it together when put away. The tool is military style, but it is not genuine issue. Check how it folds and operates before relying on it for a job.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep a digging tool available for practical outdoor tasks after severe weather.
- Shed or garden: Useful for small digging jobs where a full-size spade is not needed.
- Camp: A folding option for preparing or working on the ground around your pitch.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: A hand tool for appropriate ground work at a permitted site.
Prep tips
- Practise folding and opening the tool at home so you know how it works before you need it.
- Store it clean and dry, and check it periodically for dirt or signs of wear.
- Keep the pouch with the tool so it is easier to store and retrieve.
